Starting from the 15th of July, 2019, students of Estonian University of Life Sciences will be using Office 365 cloud (https://office.com) as their e-mail management environment. Additionally, Office 365 allows students to use Microsoft Office applications either online or installed to their personal computer/smart device. Also, all the students are eligible for 1 TB of OneCloud storage online.

All the students who are also employees, will have their student mail redirected to employee's mailbox. There will be no dual mailboxes in our university anymore. Despite that, all other benefits from Office 365 will still be available for them.

Meiler will be kept operational for reference and migration until 31th of December 2019. After that date, Meiler will be shut down and all the data will be deleted.

To get you started more easily, our IT department has created some guidance videos following through first-time login process, installing Office 365, including Outlook to Windows PC, and initial configuration of Outlook mail client.

IMPORTANT!

 While logging in to the Office365, instead of regular"usename" you'll have to write username like this: "username@emu.ee"(NB! This IS NOT your mail address!!)

Starting from 1st of January, 2020, we will shut down previous student mail system Meiler. Old e-mails will not be automatically transferred, so we made guidance video of the recommended process moving e-mail manually from Meiler to new, Office 365 system, using Thunderbird mail client for that.
